Das für Juni angekündigte Crowded House-Album »Intriguer« spaltet die Fanschaft schon vor seiner Veröffentlichung – und tatsächlich wird es interessant, ob es CH schaffen, nochmal ein Album vom Format eines »Temple of Low Men« oder »Together Alone« nachzulegen, nachdem das Reunion-Album in 2007 eher durchwachsen ausgefallen war.

Während die rundumerneuerte Bandsite noch recht sparsam mit Infos ist, wurde in einem australischen Musikblog schon ein Veröffentlichungstermin für das Album verbreitet:  am 11. Juni 2010 soll es downunder erscheinen, fast einen Monat nach der Europa-Tour, die im Mai beginnt. Nächste Woche sei mit der Vorab-Single »Saturday Sun« zu rechnen:

According to the ‘Auspop’ web site, ‘Saturday Sun’, the first single from the new Crowded House album ‘Intriguer’ will be released to radio stations next Monday (April 19). It will be released as a digital single to the public the following Friday (April 23). (Quelle: TitM)
